Corumictis wolsani
Taxonomy
Corumictis wolsani was named by Paterson et al. (2020). Its type specimen is JODA 8167, a skull (nearly complete skull with the left P2-M1, right P3-M1, and alveoli for the left P1 and M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is John Day Units E and F, which is in a Geringian terrestrial horizon in the John Day Formation of Oregon. It is the type species of Corumictis.
