Pseudobrachytherium breve
Taxonomy
Pseudobrachytherium breve was named by Corona et al. (2020). Its type specimen is FC-DPV 2570, a skull (almost complete cranium with incisors and both right and left P1-M3 series preserved), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Puerto Arazatí (Camacho Fm), which is in a Miocene terrestrial claystone in the Camacho Formation of Uruguay. It is the type species of Pseudobrachytherium.
