Vetosmylus tentus
Taxonomy
Vetosmylus tentus was named by Ma et al. (2020). Its type specimen is CNU-NEU-NN2019001, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2019 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Vetosmylus.
