Taxonomy
Meretrix olequahensis was named by Weaver (1912). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Olequah Creek, Cantwell place, which is in a Bartonian marine horizon in the Cowlitz Formation of Washington.
It was recombined as Corbicula olequahensis by Hendy (2020).
