Diagnosis

---|---|---|
A. P. van Viersen and F. Lerouge 2020 | Wholly moderately strongly vaulted (sag., tr.) cephalon of high parabolic outline. Large, elongated subquadratic glabella anterior to S0, usually with firmly impressed lateral furrows and slightly constricted (tr.) halfway. Moderately large eyes. Weakly dorsally arched (tr.) anterior cephalic border. Short (sag.) preglabellar field. Moderately long (sag.) anterior border with a slightly concave, median depression that usually ceases abaxially well before reaching β. Distally downward-sloped lateral border. Genal spines typically not reaching backward beyond sixth thoracic ring. Thorax with nine segments. Pygidium composed of 4–5 axial rings and a long (sag.) terminal axial piece. Pygidial border appears rudimentary and a border furrow is not developed; instead, pleural fields may show a delicate change of inclination halfway (exsag.). Entire dorsal sculpture consists of particularly well-developed, uninterrupted terrace lines running subtransversely everywhere except centrally on the axial lobe (weakly curved here) and on anterior to lateral cephalic borders (anteriorly curved laterally; concentrically curved anteriorly). |
