Gondvanocoleus chikatunovi
Taxonomy
Gondvanocoleus chikatunovi was named by Ponomarenko et al. (2020). Its type specimen is AM F41401, an elytra, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Pincombe's Outcrop, Site 205, Violet Town Road, Belmont, which is in a Changhsingian pond chert in the Croudace Bay Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Gondvanocoleus.
