Taxonomy
Waagenophyllum (Liangshanophyllum) wui was named by Minato and Kato (1965). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Liangshan, middle Wujiaping (coll 2), 3 km SE of Yan'erwo, Hanzhong County, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wujiaping Formation of China.
It was corrected as Waagenophyllum (Liangshanophyllum) wuae by Shen et al. (1998).
