Taxonomy
Parawentzelella (Miyagiella) motoyoshiensis was named by Minato and Kato (1965). Its type specimen is UHR 18236 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 10, Iwaizaki, Motoyoshi-gun, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Iwaizaki Formation of Japan.
