Taxonomy
Wentzelella harrisoni was named by Douglas (1936). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kuh-i-Kaigap, which is in a Guadalupian carbonate limestone in Iran.
It was recombined as Wentzelellites harrisoni by Minato and Kato (1965).
