Rhinobatos ibericus
Taxonomy
Rhinobatos ibericus was named by Cappetta and Corral (1999). Its type specimen is MCNA 8279, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Albaina-Laño quarry, which is in a Maastrichtian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal grainstone in the Torme Formation of Spain.
