Taxonomy
Anthobium alekseevi was named by Shavrin and Yamamoto (2020). Its type specimen is AWI148, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (Alekseev coll), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
