Taxonomy
Magdalenabradys kolossiaia was named by Rincón and McDonald (2020). Its type specimen is MCNC-85-72V, a set of limb elements (Femora), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Urumaco, Biozona 3 Loc 26-FU, which is in a Miocene floodplain shale/sandstone in the Urumaco Formation of Venezuela.
