Taxonomy
Araripelibellula sennlaubi was named by Nel and Pouillon (2020). Its type specimen is MNHE.2020.10.1, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (MHNE collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
