Mastotermes brasiliensis
Taxonomy
Mastotermes brasiliensis was named by Bezerra et al. (2020). Its type specimen is LP/UFC CRT 2595, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Fonseca creek, CENIBRA property, which is in a Priabonian lacustrine shale in the Fonseca Formation of Brazil.
