Palaeonecrophilus buryaticus
Taxonomy
Palaeonecrophilus buryaticus was named by Strelnikova et al. (2020). Its type specimen is PIN 5026/1934, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Khasurty (PIN collection 5026), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Palaeonecrophilus.
