Taxonomy
Praeblattella jurassica was named by Vršanský (2020). Its type specimen is PIN 3791/1026, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bakhar, outcrop 328 (PIN collection 3791), which is in a Tithonian lacustrine claystone in Mongolia.
