Clemmydopsis steinheimensis

Taxonomy
Clemmys steinheimensis was named by Staesche (1931). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Steinheim am Albuch, which is in a MN 7 + 8 lacustrine - small siliciclastic/limestone in Germany.

It was synonymized subjectively with Clemmydopsis turnauensis by Williams (1954); it was recombined as Clemmydopsis steinheimensis by Fritz and Farkas (1996).
