Taxonomy
Europs makarovi was named by Kupryjanowicz et al. (2020). Its type specimen is UCP 1014, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Mexican amber (UCP coll), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Mexico.
