Taxonomy
Rorringtonia kennedyi was named by Owens (1981). Its type specimen is NMW 79.35G.1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Left bank of stream section E of Bach-y-graig, which is in a Llandeilo marine mudstone in the Llanfawr Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom.
