Taxonomy
Xenodechenella chacomaensis was named by Pek and Vanĕk (1991). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chacoma, which is in an Emsian/Eifelian marine horizon in the Belén Formation of Bolivia.
It was recombined as Ormistoniella chacomaensis by Lieberman (1994).
