Taxonomy
Balbaroo nalima was named by Black et al. (2014). It is not extant. Its type specimen is CPC 22179, a mandible (posterior portion of left dentary with m1-4). Its type locality is Small Hills locality, which is in a Miocene terrestrial limestone in the Camfield Beds Formation of Australia.
