Wakaleo pitikantensis
Taxonomy
Priscileo pitikantensis was named by Rauscher (1987). Its type specimen is UCMP 88448, a maxilla (right maxillary fragment, left maxillary fragment), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP Locality V-5857, which is in an Oligocene fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Etadunna Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Wakaleo pitikantensis by Gillespie et al. (2019).
