Taxonomy
Buryatnemonyx gratshevi was named by Legalov (2010). Its type specimen is PIN 5026/41, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Khasurty (PIN collection 5026), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Distenorrhinus (Buryatnemonyx) gratshevi by Kopylov et al. (2020).
