Taxonomy
Calva (Calva) campanae was named by Saul and Popenoe (1992). Its type specimen is LACMIP 8207 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CIT loc. 1158, Bell Canyon, which is in a Campanian marine siliciclastic in the Chatsworth Formation of California.
