Weania semicircularis
Taxonomy
Aprathia semicircularis was named by Engel and Morris (1996) [= Phillipsia convexicaudata Mitchell 1922; p. 535–536, pl. 54, figs. 8–10.]. Its type specimen is AMF27747/AMF28010 (external mould of dorsal shield/internal mould of counterpart) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NU L1039. Glen William Road, 3km north of Clarence Town, which is in a Visean marine sandstone in the Flagstaff Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Weania semicircularis by Vanderlaan and Ebach (2015).
