Oaxacagale ruizi
Taxonomy
Oaxacagale ruizi was named by Ferrusquía-Villafranca and Wang (2021). Its type specimen is IGM 7998, a skull (nearly complete cranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1.7 km ESE of Santiago Yolomécatl, which is in a Bartonian fluvial-lacustrine siltstone in the Yolomécatl Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Oaxacagale.
