Mycomya palaeocenica
Taxonomy
Mycomya (Mycomya) palaeocenica was named by Blagoderov (2007). Its type specimen is PIN 3387/44, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Sakhalin Amber (PIN collection 3387), which is in a Lutetian terrestrial amber/coal in the Naibuchi Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Mycomya palaeocenica by Oliveira and Amorim (2021).
