Tenebroides (Polynesibroides) mihiura was named by Kolibáč and Porch (2020). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MIH16-1 core, Mihiura Swamp, Tubuai Island, which is in a Holocene mire/swamp peat in French Polynesia.
