Taxonomy
Eofletcheria kearsargensis was named by Pestana (1960). Its type specimen is UCMP 37709 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. B6094, Mazourka Canyon, which is in a Trentonian marine dolomite in the Johnson Spring Formation of California.
