Acidomomys hebeticus
Taxonomy
Acidomomys hebeticus was named by Bloch et al. (2002) [genotype]. Its type specimen is UM 108206, a mandible (left dentary with p4-m3, right dentary with p3-m2, isolated left i1 (broken), isolated right I1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SC-62, which is in a Clarkforkian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Acidomomys.
