Prothero 2021Zygoma more than 350 mm wide, widerand differently shaped from that of Macrogenis crassigenis or Skinnerhyus shermerorum, with long, laterally tapering points, and a twist at the base. Rostral muscle fossa beneath the anterior edge of the zygomatic wing. Upper and lower post-canine diastemata about 25% longer, and cheek teeth about 10-20% longer, than in M. crassigenis.
