Kinometaxia guangpui
Taxonomy
Kinometaxia guangpui was named by Wang et al. (2004). Its type specimen is IVPP V13057, a skull (nearly complete skull except tip of rostrum with partial left and right canine alveoli, roots of left P2-3, left P4-M1, and right P2-M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is IVPP locality DH9910, which is in a Shanwangian terrestrial mudstone in the Tiejianggou Formation of China.
