Eolithostrotionella lissitzini was named by Zhizhina in Bul'vanker and others (1960).

It was recombined as Acrocyathus lissitzini by Sando (1983).

W. J. Sando 1983Cerioid Acrocyathus with corallite diameter 15 to 20 mm and 18 to 25 major septa that ap-proach the columella but seldom reach it and seldom ex-tend into the dissepimentarium. Minor septa absent. Columella seemingly simple to complex. Dissepimen-tarium composed of 1 to 3 rows of dissepiments of vary-ing sizes. Tabulae complete, conical, and spaced about 1 mm apart. Ratio of tabularium width to corallite diameter about 0.4 to 0.5. Mode of increase unknown.
