W. J. Sando 1983 | Petalaxis with corallite diameter 8 to 16 mm and 18 to 22 .major septa that extend about two-thirds of the way to the columella but seldom extend into the dissepimentarium. Minor septa absent or very poor-ly developed. Columella a simple thickened axial plate connected to the counter septum. Dissepimentarium consists of 1 to 3 rows of large inflated dissepiments. Tabulae complete and incomplete, horizontal, concave, turned up at the columella, and irregularly spaced 0.25 to 1 mm apart. Ratio of tabularium width to corallite diameter about 0.3 to 0.4. Mode of increase unknown. |
