Mioparadoxurus meini
Taxonomy
Mioparadoxurus meini was named by Morales and Pickford (2011). Its type specimen is K 29-469, a mandible (left mandible containing m1-p4, the posterior half of p3, the anterior root of p3 and the posterior one of p2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hari Talyangar, Himichal Pradesh, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in India. It is the type species of Mioparadoxurus.
