Alopecocyon leardi
Taxonomy
Actiocyon leardi was named by Stock (1947) [genotype]. Its type specimen is CIT 2747, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Remnant Hill, which is in a Clarendonian terrestrial horizon in the NS Caliente Formation of California.
It was recombined as Alopecocyon leardi by Webb (1969).
