Zacallites cockerelli
Taxonomy
Zacallites cockerelli was named by Bechly et al. (2020). Its type specimen is FOBU13830, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Smith Hollow quarry (18-inch layer), which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine - large shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.
