Taxonomy
Periplaneta perialla was named by Anisyutkin and Perkovsky (2021). Its type specimen is SIZK Ma-12, a nymph (larva), and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Rovno Amber, Manevichi locality (SIZK Ma collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Ukraine.
