Taxonomy
Anemorhysis natronensis was named by Beard et al. (1992). Its type specimen is CM 41137, a mandible (left dentary fragment preserving root of I1, crowns of I2 (broken), C1, P3-4, and M1-2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Davis Ranch, which is in a Bridgerian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in the Wind River Formation of Wyoming.
