Taxonomy
Trichophya minor was named by Yamamoto and Newton (2021). Its type specimen is FMNHINS-4357787, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (FMNH coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
