Taxonomy
Eckfelderolispa manderschieta was named by Legalov and Wappler (2019). It is extant. Its type specimen is NHMM PE2000/2166 LS, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Eckfeld Maar (NHMN 2000 collection), which is in a MP 13 crater lake siltstone/shale in the Eifel Formation of Germany.
