Dacryoderma teres

Taxonomy
Brevicula teres was named by Tihelka (2019). Its type specimen is NMW 91.14G.35, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Charmouth bypass construction site, which is in an Obtusum offshore mudstone in the Charmouth Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Dacryoderma.

It was recombined as Dacryoderma teres by Engel (2021).
