Taxonomy
Microparamys solis was named by Dawson and Constenius (2018). Its type specimen is CM 83102, a tooth (Lm3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kishenehn M-28R, which is in an Uintan lacustrine - large marl in the Kishenehn Formation of Montana.
