Taxonomy
Cathartosilvanus perkovskyi was named by Alekseev and Bukejs (2021). Its type specimen is MAIG 6784, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Rovno amber (MAIG collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Ukraine.
