Borophagus orc
Taxonomy
Osteoborus orc was named by Webb (1969). Its type specimen is UF 13180, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Withlacoochee River Site 4A, which is in a Hemphillian pond claystone in Florida.
It was recombined as Borophagus orc by Wang et al. (1999), Wang et al. (2008), Tseng and Geisler (2016).
