Taxonomy
Symphora pollocki was named by Alekseev and Bukejs (2021). Its type specimen is MAIG 6713, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (University of Gdansk MAI collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
