Taxonomy
Megaraphidia antiquissima was named by Archibald and Makarkin (2021). Its type specimen is RBCM P1555, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is McAbee (RBCM collection), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in Canada.
