Taxonomy
Megaraphidia ootsa was named by Archibald and Makarkin (2021). Its type specimen is RBCM P1556, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Driftwood Canyon (RBCM collection), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine shale in Canada.
