Bryanictis paulus
Taxonomy
Bryanictis paulus was named by Meehan and Wilson (2002). Its type specimen is KUVP 10301, a partial skeleton (skull fragment with right and left P2-M2, left ramus with canine alveolus and p1-m1, fragment of right ramus with p3, several vertebrae, and a few small limb fr), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Big Pocket, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial siltstone in the Nacimiento Formation of New Mexico.
