Taxonomy
Stagetus zahradniki was named by Háva (2022). Its type specimen is JHAC 6071, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber, Gdansk, Jiri Hava collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
